Chapter 8

"She said this," Elena remarked, pointing at Yoselin and looking at Holden.

Yoselin and Zheneria were both taken aback. Is it true that the small white face that befriended Elena is this man?

Gosh!

Yoselin felt as though she had smacked her face hard.

The store manager handed Holden a strawberry jam cake at this point, and he said, "Let's go."

“Okay.” Elena followed, returning her gaze and waving a tiny hand towards Yoselin.

Yoselin was completely taken aback. Elena would be so fortunate to have a man like him, she had no clue.

"Yoselin, it appears that you are going to call Elena your employer," Zheneria remarked stupidly at this point.

Yoselin instantly gave Zheneria a savage glare.

"Yoselin, I mean, the tiny white face reared by Elena is so lovely, how much does it cost to raise him?" Zheneria said, smiling.

The self-assured and attractive Yoselin felt dejected and irritated since Holden hadn't glanced at her the entire time, as if she didn't exist.

However, Zheneria's remarks immediately reminded her that Elena isn't simply raising a tiny white face; she can raise him for a lot more money.

Yoselin was ecstatic just thinking about it.

"Manager, please give me the cake I ordered; we're returning." Yoselin went to the bakery to get the cake.

"I'm sorry ladies, the money will be returned to you, and you may even double the compensation," the shop manager said, "but this cake cannot be handed to you."

“Why?” Both Yoselin and Zheneria were taken aback.

“Because this cake is for my dog,” the shopkeeper said with a faint smile.

what?

"Manager, what do you mean, are you embarrassing us?" Yoselin patted the table and rose up.

The proprietor of the store “Isn't it enough that I'm embarrassed?” You've upset a powerful man. This cake isn't for you, even if it's for dogs!"

Holden handed Elena the hot-stamped black card and said, "Here, this is for you." The luxury automobile came to a halt at Green Garden, and Holden handed Elena the hot-stamped black card.

Why would he give her a card? Elena's palm shook.

"It's not for me." She didn't want to.

“You mustn't be able to feed me with a pale face, but you, I can still feed my wife,” Holden said as he lifted his thin lips.

That's my lady!

Elena just felt her heart move as he spoke these words in an extraordinarily seductive voice, and her heart had been racing.

Elena dashed out of the car, opening the door swiftly.

This individual is a true tyrant.

Elena entered the living room with care, placing his bronzing black card in her bag. "Elena, you are back, how did it go with your family today?" Mrs. Lu said, smiling.

"Grandma, that went well; let's eat cake together," says.

"The cake is excellent, I enjoy cakes the most," old Mrs. Lu said as she went into the living room numbly, stretching her hands.

Holden entered the room at this point. He headed directly upstairs instead of going to the living room, but he halted on the stairs and looked at Mrs. Lu, "Grandma, you have high blood pressure." "Just a smidgeon of the cake."

"I know it in my heart, I just took a slice and tasted it, it's extremely delicious," Mrs. Lu said honestly as she shoved the Nth mouthful of cake into her lips.

Elena was delighted by the old lady and asked, "Do you want to eat the cake?" to the man on the stairwell.

"There's no need," Holden says, referring to his dislike of sweets.

“Oh.”

"The corner of your mouth..." says.

Holden's attention was drawn to her little features. The veil on her face lifted a corner due to the cake, displaying a tiny jaw and her half-covered crimson lips.

Her cherry-colored lips are stunning.

She was the one, he told himself, when a magazine chose the lips that made men want to k!ss when they saw them.

She now has a little smudge on her lips from the milk.

Elena extended her tongue and sucked the small milk mark right into her mouth when he reminded her.

Holden raised his hand and tugged the knot on the collar of the shirt as she raised her gaze to stare at him again, rolling his throat upstairs and into the study.

As she considered his stare, Elena's snow-white earlobes became crimson, and Holden's tie became lethal.

Elena hastily drew out a tissue and frantically cleaned her lips.

"Grandma, who is that person?" Elena said as the butler carried an elderly gentleman upstairs.

"Oh, that's Mr. Nanyuan," says the narrator. Once a month, he'll come here."

Elena's heart began to throb. Mr. Nan Yuan was a well-known hypnosis expert across the world. She has studied medicine and is familiar with his name.

Mr. Nan Yuan has arrived. He had to have dealt with Holden's sleep apnea. His sleep issue appeared to be more serious than she had anticipated.

Elena was concerned, so she approached the study's door. There was a weird noise within at this time. Elena was surprised, and she hurriedly opened the study door.

The study was a shambles, with all of the papers on the desk strewn across the carpet and the clock in Mr. Nan Yuan's hand shattered.

Holden stood in front of the desk, his two large hands placed on the table, his delicate chest heaving like a beast, the veins on his palm furiously leaping.

Holden raised his head as he heard the door open, and Elena rushed into his deep, narrow eyes. His eyes were now smeared with a horrifying scarlet blood and a dreadful sense of humiliation.

He now appears to be a completely different guy.

Elena is no longer unfamiliar with this individual, whom she only met the night before.

Holden pushed his thin lips into a frigid white arc and sternly stated, "Get out!" as the two exchanged glances.

Elena remained still.

Mr. Nan Yuan was taken out of the study by the butler, who picked up the broken clock.

Two worlds are separated by a door.

"Mr. Nan Yuan, how are you doing?" Elena inquired.

"At first, I could hypnotize master and let him rest for a day every month," Mr. Nan Yuan said, shaking his head. "But his mental state is too quick, master is highly attentive, and the line of defense in his heart is so powerful that it is scary." It's impossible to mesmerize him any more."

Elena isn't surprised at all. Holden is a wise, thoughtful, and quiet man who rarely expresses his feelings. Such a man is composed and has a high level of self-control, nearly to the point of being unnatural.

Elena lowered the bolt carefully, then reached out and twisted the doorknob to let herself in.

"No, young lady, it's too hazardous for you to enter right now." "Did you forget what happened last night?" Butler Freddy attempted to stop her as fast as he could.

"Freddy, it's because I haven't forgotten, therefore I want to go in," Elena said, her pupils wide. He won't be able to manage the gloomy and irritated disease in his body if the sleep issue turns into a mental ailment. I'll divide the second personality, and he'll be fully replaced by the second personality."

Freddy's face flushed.

Elena pulled open the door and walked in.

"Go out, don't let me say it a third time!" Holden said in the study, his haze on his brows jumping another layer, "Don't let me say it a third time!"

"Mr. Lu, I simply want to see what happens if you repeat it a third time?" Elena moved closer, her black eyes sparkling with a brilliant grin.

Holden was uneasy all over, his blue veins on his forehead bulging, his body slipping out of control, and he didn't want to injure her.

"Leave!" he shouted from his throat, reaching out to grab Elena's thin arm.

He pushed her forward.

Elena couldn't keep her balance, and as she fell on the carpet, her forehead collided with the sharp corner of the coffee table, pouring blood.

hiss.

Elena gasped in agony, her palm covering the cut, and fresh blood gushed from her fingers.
