Maya POV

The whole graduation party thing was a nice gesture toward Eliane, simple and touching at the same time. I knew she'd like it and appreciate this first experience. After all, it has always been just the two of us. What I didn't expect was Eliane's reaction toward them, she was opening up to them and letting her walls down little by little. I don't think she's even aware of it.

I watched her relaxed interaction with the kids. She was leaning slightly toward Alex who never left her side. His eyes were always on her, making sure she was comfortable and didn't need anything. He would hand her water before she could ask him. Alexia, too, was very attentive. At first, it seemed kind of weird how she was taking some notes on her phone but when she mentioned throwing Eliane's birthday party It made sense.
