EDWARD’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I drove absentmindedly home as my mind wandered on what the minister had just discussed with me. That man was the devil himself and I doubted if he was truly the one who fathered Celia because they seemed to be complete opposites. The saddest part was that his wife was also in on the evil things this man was involved in. Evil power couple. I was jolted from my thoughts when I almost ran over an old man. He had tried to cross the road and walked really sluggish. I did not see him initially as I was lost having conversation with myself in my head but fortunately, I saw him before it was too late and I reflexively pressed the brake pedal immediately leaving my car few inches away from him. “Holy molly!” I screamed.

The sudden pause I made the car do threw me forward but thankful to the seatbelt which held me down as I could have hit my head hard on the steering and probably initiate the airbag. There were screams around from the onlookers coupled with
