Not a blink later the lights were back on and she turned to face him who only looked at her sheepishly. "Was just rechecking it." He said with a shrug.

Riley took in a deep breath to calm her heart down as she started walking up the stairs and back into the hall. She was cautious and looked around with big eyes in case she spotted the ghost.

Walking to the sofa she sat on it and touched her knee where she got the hit only to hiss in pain. She pulled her dress up and stared at the purple and blue bruise now.

It would probably take a few days to heal.

but the concern is natural, i think. of course, ghost idea was lame but — being concerned about Damon that the wolf might hurt him was natural bc she doesn't know about his reality:')
