Three: Fucked-up Plans

LUSTRE

What? My mouth dropped open as I tried to make sense of what just happened but the alpha had already turned and disappeared from the room.

The guy that came with him remained for a while, his eyes locked on my face with an almost curious smile on his face. The curious smile deepened into a smirk when our eyes met and maybe my brain was hazy and it was affecting my sight or something but he really did give me a mock salute before disappearing after Fleki.

What is the fudge?

I was going to become a maid? In Hell's Hall? I didn't know what Hell's Hall was but from the way he personalized it, I could only guess that it was his personal house. So I was going to become a maid in his personal house?

I had thought he was going to take a first look at my body and become enamored by it immediately. I had no doubt he'd have added me to his personal harem immediately. I've even gone far to imagine that he'd call me into his room tonight but he hadn't even given me a proper look, he just glanced at me briefly as if I were a fly, fleeting and pestering, and had ordered his soldiers to assign me to a maid position.

Like me, Lustre Blue? A maid when he could easily have me to warm his bed every time he wants.

He was really different from the other alphas I've encountered. If he had taken a look at my body and not wanted me, then he must be a different breed like his legacy that preceded him has always made us known.

The soldiers gathered us and started walking us to what I assumed was going to be Hell's Hall and during that time, I allowed myself to restrategize. I wasn't the type to be bothered by a tiny set back, I had a whole mission in front of me and even though two months seemed like a long time, I knew I just had to open my eyes and close it and two months will be over so I needed to get my head back in the game.

I knew I must look like shit from all the walk and dragging and from being locked up overnight and even though I couldn't see my face to judge for myself, I knew that no matter how shitty I look, I'd still look prettier than most females in Silvercrest. It wasn't pride or anything of that sort. In a world that was extremely cruel to my kind, I've discovered that my body and face were the only things that could protect me and that I was indeed lucky to have been blessed with my kind of body.

The alpha might have not noticed me now but I didn't intend to keep it like that for more than 2 days. As long as I was going to work in his house, then I was going to have him in my palms no matter what it takes which was going to be nothing other than a few seductions and mind games.

No male has been able to turn down my body and no matter how devilish he was, he won't be an exception.

I would never allow him to be an exception.

So I was glad that I was at least going to work in his mansion. It'd have been a different story if he didn't pick me to work in this Hell's Hall and had given me out to his men. I'd have lost my mind. Now, I was going to be in his mansion and see him and seduce him.

It was not as good as being put in his harem from the get-go but maybe this was just going to make it more fun and exciting.

And who doesn't like fun and excitement?

My thoughts died in my brain when where I assumed was going to be Hell's Hall came into view and my mouth dropped open. From the town where the rest of Silvercrest lives, this particular building had always been the one that stood out the most at the top of the hill that housed the Feral Blood Pack because it sat at the very top of the hill and its distinct black color but it had always seemed so far away from Silvercrest that it was impossible to make out its features.

But now, standing this close to it, my brain was temporarily rendered incapable of functioning because what's this? I never thought a building could look this enormous.

The house was big, bigger than the whole space that housed the Blood Moon Pack in Silvercrest and while three floors were the highest building in Silvercrest, this house looked like it was up to seven or eight floors and I had to wonder how they were able to even put such a building together and the height wasn't the only thing enormous about the building, the length and breadth of it. The house looked like it could house the rest of Silvercrest.

But the size wasn't even the most distinct thing about this house, the distinct thing was the color. The house looked like it was shrouded in darkness with its deep black color. The black was so deep and dark that it seemed like the closer we walked to the gates, the more it was beckoning and saying to us; welcome to the Devil's abode.

The house was really befitting of all the stories that we've heard about Fleki.

I thought Luca thrived in dark places? The darkness this house was emitting would put the darkness in Luca's office to a big fat shame.

"Is this... the... is the house we're going?" The smallest girl among us asked in a small and broken voice as if she couldn't just believe that she was going to continue the rest of her life in a place as sinister as this Hell's Hall.

"I guess so," I was the one that answered her because I knew no one was going to answer her, and I didn't want her feeling more lonely and miserable than she already felt.

We entered through the gates that were being guarded by at least a dozen men and it felt like the air dimmed and the weather sifted into a dark one. I knew that didn't happen, it was the blackness of the house that made it seem that way. I bet we could step outside again and the weather would shift again.

I wasn't even bothered by the blackness or anything, I just wanted to settle in quickly and get started with my plans.

The guards started leading us toward the back of the mansion and I instantly concluded that we were going to enter through the back door because we were still dirty and filthy.

The guards didn't stop until we get to a semi-big building that was attached to the fence at the end of the mansion and immediately, a middle-aged plump woman approached us, and the guards left after communicating what we didn't hear to her.

"So, you guys are welcomed to Hell's Hall," the woman immediately started, "I'm sure you must have had a very long and tiring journey so I'm not going to bore you with too many details today.-

Just allow me to introduce myself, I'm Mayla Kairo, the head maid and I oversee everything and anything concerning maids in this house."

I was barely paying attention to her because my eyes were now latched on the back door that'd lead me to what I came here for.

I wondered why she was meeting us in front of this building and having a talk with us here when we can easily do it in the main house. Adrenaline was coursing through me and my wolf, although as weak as hell was rattling in my chest in excitement. We were too excited to get started on this mission because there was something at the back of my mind that kept telling me that I'd really enjoy this mission.

"I'll give you the full lecture of what you'll be doing around here when you're properly settled in but for now, a maid will show you to your allocated bed space and the bathroom so you'll shower and rest, you don't have to worry, clothes will be provided for you."

Enough with all these talks, can we just go in already?

"And there's an important rule that I have to tell you right now even though I'll still repeat it in detail for you tomorrow but under no circumstance," she flickered her eyes towards the main house, "must you enter the main house! It's forbidden and the punishment is death."

What?

What?

What?

I stared at her, unable to comprehend the nonsense she just uttered. We weren't allowed to enter the main house? It's a crime punishable by death?

No way!!!
