The next day came by. I woke up at the sound of Tain laughing and giggling as if there was no tomorrow.

I opened my eyes and adjusted them to the sunlight that crept into our room and noticed that Jade was bonding with my son.

She looked genuinely happy. I decided to stand up and stretch up my sore joints, “Good morning, Tain, Jade.”

They both looked at me with bright smiles on their faces, “Good morning/Good morning Mommy!”

“I already brewed some coffee downstairs, shall we have our breakfast?” Jade curiously asked, which made me nod.

On our way downstairs, someone knocked on the door so I decided to open it myself because I have this huge feeling that it was him.

A smile crept onto my lips the moment I opened the door, “Good morning.” We both greeted each other in unison.
