Even though Vanelope tried to reassure me that everything will be alright, I couldn’t stay still or be at peace.

Tain looked worried as well a while ago, but he was not asking, especially after hearing the word ‘dead’.

He is also well aware of those words, I am not sure if it’s a good or bad thing but it is alright for him to open his eyes at an early age about the reality of the world. We live and die.

I do want him to see the world as a beautiful place to live in, but I don’t want him to get hurt when he grows up, which is why I let him read books.

Reading books is the only comfort we have in this constantly changing world, “Tain, are you alright?”

I was pulled back from reality after hearing my son’s name, “I-I am good, I’m sorry director, I will do better.”

“It’s okay, we heard that you saw something awful this morning, I am sure that is why you are distracted.” The director pointed out, “Okay, again everyone.”
