65. Good-luck

THIRD PERSON POV

“Aren’t you going to wish him good luck before he leaves?” Fay asked Lilian for the umpteenth time.

“Just leave me alone. Good luck to him. It’s not like my words will change anything and I don’t want to see him,” Lilian replied.

She was angry with him although she felt the urge to go see him one last time. It wasn’t like he was going to die. She knew that.

She wanted to see him and to wish him good luck and maybe hug him but after they parted ways earlier she had refused to go back there after all she had pride too.

He was too dismissive and her feelings weren’t helping. She didn’t like it at all. She barely tolerated it all.

“You barely tolerated Lilian. Stop lying,” she said through her teeth.

“What did you say?” Fay asked and she shook her head.

She was angry at herself because of the discovery she came to realize earlier and how she was yet to completely accept it although it’s the truth.
