35. Seven Months

LUCY'S POV

"Seven months…" The doctor answered while he took my vital signs and wrote something on his paper.

“W–What?”

Finally, he looked over at me and said, "Yes, you've been in a coma for seven months."

Looking at him with bated breath, he smiled and said, "Don't worry, I already called your husband to come check you out." He then left the room.

I shut my eyes and remember the horrible night they tried to kill me. Even now, I can feel the bullets going through my body and hear their laughter echoing in my head.

I yelled out in a shaky voice. "N--No..."

I grabbed the bed sheet in fear, and when the door opened, I saw Arman standing in front of me. My eyes went wide, and my mouth fell open. Having both hands in his pockets, he observed me looking at him and frowning angrily.

“Arman….”

“Lucy…”

“Seven months?”

He nodded his head, “Yes, seven months.”

I wiped away my tears, “Oh…”

"I know you're mad at me. You hate me and how much you want to hurt me." he said in a deep voice.
