“Day fifteen of no Luca,”

Nora voiced when she woke up, she had been doing a countdown every day since Luca left, not like the countdown was helping in any way, the days just kept increasing and she didn’t know just how many days were left. She knew better than to hope that today would be the day he returned because she could be counting to day fifty or hundred, she wasn’t so sure. A few days after he left, she deluded herself into thinking he would be back that day, she got busy making herself pretty and everything but he never came and she had felt like the most stupid person ever, because she knew better than to have expected that, anyway, she learned a hard lesson from it.
