Chapter 14

Luca got busy for the rest of the week, he got a call from his Russia branch that something urgently needed his attention and he had to leave as soon as he arrived at the office. He called the doctor to tell him to make sure to keep him posted in case anything goes wrong and to be on a safer side, he had his men watch her twenty-hours a day without leaving her side. If his instance was correct which it always was, then that witch would want to show up around her when she was sure he wasn’t close. But she never showed her face and he spent the rest of the week in Russia. Everyday, he called to ask if she was awake but she remained asleep and he started to worry that she might take a long time to wake up like he had two years ago. He turned off her phone to avoid her getting any calls as he was sure he wasn’t ready to speak to anyone who might be looking for her. If she was awake, it would be a different case but she was yet to wake up so he had nothing to say to whoever would call her.
