“Mom, what are you here for?” I asked with a somewhat awkward face as soon as I realized mom had entered our room. 

Mom sighed and immediately hit my ass. “Why do you say that, huh?”

I winced in pain and held her hand so she wouldn’t hit my ass again. But Mom kept asking about it. I tiptoed around and explained that I was just kidding. Terrence laughed with satisfaction at seeing me punished by mom but behind his satisfaction, he was still trying to defend me. 

“But I’d really be fine if I had amnesia,” I mumbled. 

“And you’re going to forget me?” asked Mom. “You think you can forget your past so easily?”

I scowled and bowed my head. “I didn’t say in that way. Yet I think suffered amnesia. It’s better than suffering from trauma.”
