Chapter 28

Narrator’s POV

It felt like another terrible dream for her, waking up back into reality, she didn’t know what to take for her terrible flashback.

“Fuck, it is happening again”. She muttered as she held unto her head in pain, and she groaned in discomfort. She had returned home from an outing with her boss, and falling into a deep slumber, she didn’t realize on time that she was dreaming about her past to the extent that she was becoming confused yet again.

Vincent had promised to take care of her mother’s surgery, and also pay her a huge amount of money only for her to pretend to be his girlfriend for 3 months. It all felt too good to be true, and she began to doubt the possibility that it was all true.

Just as she was about to move out of the bed, a text entered her phone, and picking it up, she saw the name of the sender, and a little smile came to her lips.
