His old man walks gracefully albeit his age of late 50's. His hands on his back with a slightly slanted spine, his sight is clear as his Father walks ahead the subway station.
"Do you find it amusing?" He looks at his old man, who asked a weird question. A low and calm voice that goes along with the cold wind blowing underneath their thick clothes.
Ryuu, the mind of a 17 year old boy cannot comprehend what his Father really meant about what he asked. He only feels his cold hands wearing woolen gloves in his pocket, the cool wind makes his body tremble underneath his thick jacket and sweatpants.
"It is." The boy's pitch black eyes are glued to the floor, and all he wants to do at the moment is to go home to shake off what winter can do in the city of Tokyo. It is not the same temperature as his in the mountainside of Wakayama, where his parents and he lives. For him, he is not used to this much coldness.
Ryuu looks at his Father who stops walking and faces him with his tired eyes, and a dark bag under his eyes. Ryuu gulps and the trembling of his lips pause in a second, watching his old man who doesn't look like he's having trouble with the current winter they are experiencing.
"Wait here, I'll buy us hot coffee..."
Ryuu nods and walks towards the waiting bench while he watches his Father walk his way out of his sight. Ryuu's mind and eyes wander around the place where they are in.
They left the bedridden friend of his Father about seven in the evening, and it is probably about eight now, but Ryuu thinks it is bizarre to see only a few people passing by. They do not have to ride a train as it is already a shortcut road after they cross the subway.
He averts his attention to his black boots, and lets its toe caps poke each other leisurely.
"I don't wanna go with you!" The boy's watchful eyes look at the young girl who looks about his age. A black short haired-girl who wears winter clothes and carrying a medium-sized backpack on her back. As for Ryuu's perception, she looks like a high school student like him.
Two adult men in their late twenties who wear thin clothes for winter are blocking the girl's pathway. Ryuu's calm breathing halts as the girl looks at him with reluctant eyes. He quickly looks around to see passers avoiding the scene. Ryuu makes haste and grabs the girl's arm from behind her. The scuffles between her and the two adult men stopped and looked at Ryuu.
Ryuu is not frightened of them. Yes, they are taller than him, but there are still other people passing by and he is confident in his running speed if the commotion comes out of hand, but...
"Where did you go? I was looking for you." Ryuu puts on an act and the girl catches it easily. Only from those words, the two adult men leave them. Ryuu breathes out inaudibly in relief, creating a circle of air out his mouth.
"Thank you for helping me." The girl laughs as she utters those words. Ryuu suddenly thinks she behaves strange still smiles at her and ignores his judgement.
"Are you alone?" The two walk towards the waiting bench and sit there, the waiting bench can only accommodate two persons at a time.
"Ah, yes. But, I'll contact my parents now to pick me up. Can I stay beside you for a bit?" Ryuu nods and watches the city girl take out a phone that can only be bought at a high price. Mobile phones are only getting known in the market and only rich and famous people have the privilege to buy one or two. It has a short antennae and keypad, the case is color black as it is the common color the public can buy.
"Sure, I was with my Father. He's coming back by now." Ryuu feels more comfortable to stay with the girl. He thinks the two men pester her because she comes from a well-known family or someone wealthy. The boy alters her attention towards the direction where he last caught sight of his Father, and that is the last time he ever saw him since then.
Meanwhile, Ryuu wakes up in an unfamiliar bed where he sees two unknown men standing in the door frame facing their backs on him. They have two other men, whose faces are blocked because of the other two's stature. The lights are dim and his vision is blurry. Their voices are muffled, but he caught two words which are "Deal" and "Match".
The boy's senses are wrecked, his sense of touch feels numb from the small brushes of the white sheets, the pleasant scent like mint makes him dizzy and breathing is shallow and rapid. His sense of rationality had lost him.
His delicate body turns its back on the bed slowly and his fingers trail on his bare chest down his stomach. He feels so weak and disoriented.
The only thought that stays with him is the only matter that he will not forget...
What did I do wrong?
"What's your name?" The young deep black eyes looked at the man in his late twenties. He looked like those typical salarymen you can see around, the only indication that he was somewhat recognized by society was the golden pocket watch that was hanging over his leather vest.Ryuu's eyes slanted as he tried to put the man's huge hood in his tired small mouth. The pretty boy flushed a tinge of pink on his cheek as his breathing became unsteady from not getting enough air. He did not want to smell the man's filthy d*ck and the struggles added from avoiding the pubic hair of the man.His heartbeat was irregular, nervous and uncertain. His brave demeanor and ability to tolerate what was in front of him, did not stop him from doing his job or he would not get a client today. If that happened, worst comes to worst, he would be forced to accept clients two at a time or even more. That would be his greatest nightmare he wanted to avoid. He only needed to gi
This was a revolt. A revolt to address every concern and stories behind each server of the Service Hub. A revolution that will shake the world of the red light district in the heart of Tokyo. "He sucks," Arlert, the blonde boy, insulted the client of Ryuu today. The 18 year old lad had done his service for the day an hour earlier than Ryuu who was a rookie in the place.Arlert, not his real name and it was given to him by one of 'The Watchers' who adopted him when he was 8 years old. In the past, he was fragile and malnourished. Particularly, he belonged to one of the hapless children living in the street of the City. Ryuu, on the other hand, did not know about it entirely. The mysterious blonde boy only told him he started working in the red light district about a year when Ryuu came a month ago. Good thing, Arlert told him that he was living in the street and he had no family before he came to the Hub, although Ryuu did not buy it.With his remar
It was 6:17 in the evening, almost time for supper. Ryuu focused his attention on the vintage pendulum clock hanging on the wall above the door. He closed his eyes and composed his breathing till he could hear the ticking sound of its arm swinging. Gradually, he began to calm down and relaxed his trembling nerves, and by a quick few seconds he opened his sharp eyes ready to face what the Hub would serve him, outside the small four corners of the walls where he could take a few naps of rest. His only moment to repose these past three days. His lack of ability to fall asleep shortly only by staring at the wooden wall in their house, was no effect in his new room.Three days of sleepless nights that put him to edge, and his astute mind would badly affect his surroundings. He was not happy with everything. He never did. If his roommate could sleep like a log in their state, what method was he using?Ryuu shook off the thought of adding a garbage topic thereupon transpired
Ryuu casually turned to the right. Aika was in her mode of checking the tall indoor plants if they had already been watered. Each corner of the cased opening has two sets of Ficus plants, Polyscias and Birds of Paradise. She might be a Lady, still she had other duties to deal with. "Where is Arlert, Aika-san?" Ryuu asked. Aika glanced at him a second and looked at the way, "He's still with a client." A short giggle altered the rookie's gaze at the two young boys passing by him. He looked down as his eyes met one of them. Their short blabbering diminished as they went upstairs. The two boys, a black-haired one which was cut on a bob and the other one was of Caesar's. Their clothes were already casual, an indication of their duty for today had finished. The walls were flat and non-load bearing. The corridor they had to pass had no windows, only canvas paintings of human; ballet dance ballerinas, an indistinct face of a boy, petite hand, and a stick figure-l
Heart was racing as the young boy entered the room, the same interior style from the VIP rooms he had visited. Although, this room was identical to an office with a wooden desk and chair in the center. The utmost thing that caught his attention was the metallic cat facing him, balancing a red paperweight sphere with bubbles inside it. It was placed on the table, beside a Newton's Cradle. A device of five metallic spheres hanging on a straight thin thread which is attached to a base. The silver balls clacked; where the first strike, the last sphere would go upward while the middle spheres were being suppressed as they collided to the first and the last. The same movement happened constantly."Take this," the man ordered. His eyes were not looking at the young boy; ignoring his presence. Ryuu did not care less about the man's perception of him. His eyes were locked on the pamphlet that was on the table. The cover was only white in color and 'Exclusive Use Only' was
A mini vintage calendar hung on the wall above the bedside table. It was the fifth day of the second month. Ryuu was ready to face his job today. The everyday service starts depending on the client's set schedule. His slender wrist curled a little as he picked up his long necktie on his bed, and he quickly tied it around the collar of his dress shirt. The clock on the wall was ticking, but the blonde boy was still sound asleep on his bed with a pillow wrapped around by his limbs. Ryuu put in a gentle smile. He did not have any reasons to wake up the blonde boy besides he was thankful for him. A good sleep brought him in a good mood and his bright mind was now functioning well. As he turned around to get his pants, he noticed the leaflet on the top of his bed. He slowly picked it up and opened the first page. A knock on the door turned his head around to gaze at it, a second of heartbeat was paused. "Ryuu? It's time for your service today." 2VIP1D
Slim fingers and the warm palm pressed firmly on the lower back of a porcelain skin. The smoothness feeling as the hands glide upward on both sides of the spine all the way to the shoulders. The mild aromatic scent of maple, hint of mint and honey loitered around the room; it was soothing and relaxing. Arlert slightly groaned.Ryuu breathed silently, the pressure of his palms made a circular motion all the way through the neck of the blonde lad; some of the strands of his hair touched the pale hands. A sudden raise of one's shoulder, the blonde locks laughed."Hey, don't move!" Ryuu was only starting from the professional procedure, and he was hesitant to use his old techniques which he usually applied to his Father.Arlert, who enjoyed it very well, got up his upper body from the bed. The other lad paused and scowled at the happy face, Arlert laughed again."You're tickling me! I thought you're gonna strangle me-" His plain T-shir
Ryuu woke up from the constant thuds of the floor. Someone was running around all this time. As he raised his half body on his bed, the sapphire blue eyes widened meeting the same reaction of the lad on his bed. Arlert screamed a little and Ryuu facepalmed himself. The blonde lad hurried inside the bathroom."Why are you running around naked? This isn't just your room!" shouted Ryuu. With a few shades of pink on his cheek, he sighed a horrible one. The blonde did not close the door of the bathroom."I'm sorry! I was in a hurry! I forgot I have an early service today," Arlert wailed, echoed in the bathroom. He stepped out of the lavatory wearing the usual Servers uniform. However, the blonde locks were holding a headband with a pair of long cotton pink ears attached to it. He watched his roommate fixed his necktie in front of the bedside table, then put the headband on his head."What's that?" emphasized Ryuu. Arlert gazed down
