A Few Months Later. . . .

When Luca saw Samantha's frustrated expression, he repeatedly shook his head. His stepmother frowned as she talked on the phone, one hand on her hip, and walked back and forth. Her stepmother appears to be annoyed with whoever she is speaking with.

"Gosh! I totally forgot about the traffic here!" she complained when walking closer to him.  "My driver is not going to arrive on time. Is it okay if we just take a cab? "

"Yeah..." Actually, he was about to suggest to his stepmother that they take a taxi. The problem is that she is arguing with the other line.

"Okay, great! Where are we?"

"It's only 10pm. I'm sure my siblings are still at Casa de Lujuria. You want to meet them right?"

"Of course! I want to meet them; how can I invite them to my party if I don't deal with them? I, too, need their approval, just like you." Luca rolled his eyes. She's so proud to gain his trust. Tsk, what else can he expect? Sama
