"What are you doing out here? It's cold out here." Carnation smiled then Wren wrapped the thick shawl over her shoulder.

"Thank you Kuya Wren...," she said.

The young man leaned over and held onto the railings of the balcony. He looked up at the dark sky. Wren Leath has been with her since the cheating incident. He served as her guide to accept and weather the storm of her life. Wren helped her in so many ways; he also hid her at times when she did not want to see and talk to Wregan. She could not stay at her parents' house then, because she was afraid to let them know that she and Wregan had broken up, so when Wren offered her to temporarily hide in his house, Carnation immediately agreed. Wren Leath is like an older brother to her.

Wren turned to her. "Is there a problem? Earlier I noticed you weren't in focus," Wren asked her worriedly.

"It's nothing Kuya Wren. You don't have to worry, I'm okay. Maybe I'm just tired of work and watching over Carl Gem."
