"Ma'am, Sir Wregan is waiting for you downstairs," Carnation's secretary said as the woman entered her office.

She frowned as she lifted her head from the papers she was reading. "What is he doing in the lobby? Why didn't he come up here?"

"He told me to tell you to come down," her secretary replied with a shrug. Now, what does that man need from her, and why doesn't he come to her instead?

"All right, just cancel the meetings for today. I had a strong feeling that one guy would run away with me from work again. He probably heard Wren is back," she said as she placed the items on her table.

"Okay, Ma'am. Should I also inform Sir Wren of your and Sir Wregan's day off?"
