She held him near the door for a while before letting him go except his hands and looked into eyes, “Sex and drinking does not solve problems, Roth. It only worsens them. You have to let yourself feel the pain instead of trying to numb it. It’s okay to be hurt right now, it’s okay to cry and take some days off from everything, it’s okay to come to me at 3 A.M. if you want to vent,” Then her gentle voice turned to a growl, “But, it’s not okay to drink and then come to me for whatever reasons, you get me?”

Roth sulked with the same puppy dog eyes, his expression a bit more serious now, “Fine.”

She let go of his hands, “And if you do that again, I will not stay here anymore, okay?”

He nodded, looking at his feet, his expression much sober now. She looked at him for a while before gently shoving him outside the door, “Good night, Roth.”

She stepped a little backward to let the door close in his face, before pushing a button to lock the door and walking towards the bed to pick up the card
