Chapter One Hundred-Seventeen

Tristan’s hands fell down from his face as a look of horror took over the previous confusion. He gasped, opening his mouth to speak a couple times but no sound came out of his lips, until finally he managed to utter in disbelief, “They drugged you?”

Roth quietly nodded, observing Tristan’s expression for a while and then returning his gaze to his own hands folded in his lap. Tristan clasped a hand on his mouth in horror.

“It’s okay. The police have arrested them now. When I saw that video, I did not recollect that at all, but it was me in the video. And however much I drink, I don’t lose my memory completely like that. So I went in for a drug test, and sure enough it was there. So I filed a complaint against them with the police.” Roth was calmly explaining.

Tristan’s hand moved from his mouth to his forehead, rubbing it with two fingers as he shook his head, “So much happened and why didn’t you tell me all of that?”
