Standing up from the couch, she stretches out her hands for me to take and helped me get on my feet.
"Alright my dear enough of the chatting. We start your training at dusk tomorrow. Don't be late child." She hugs me before releasing my hands.
Walking to her desk, She sends me out of her office. "Now shoo. I have patients to attend to and you are stopping me from doing so with your being here."
"Alright mother, I will take to my leave then."
"See you tomorrow dear."
I curtsy to her before heading out.
Walking out of her office, I ran into my mate almost knocking into him.
He caught me by the shoulders, "Hey, here you are. I was just about to save you from her. I'm glad you came out in one piece."

"Lay down back. You need all the rest you can get now and tomorrow we commence your training as planned." I was surprised to hear her say this. I mean the King, her mate, just died a few hours ago which should leave her in a state of deep anguish and shouldn't even be able to think of anything but to mourn the loss of her mate, and despite that, here she is saying to me that we will commence our training right after what just happened. Taking a look at her, I try to gauge if she's in the right state of mind. It is commonly known that when one loses their other half, they tend to snap and go crazy leading them to do all sorts of crazy things. There have been several accounts of how the partners of the dead went on a rampage killing and destroying anyone or anything that cross their part and how the pack had no choice but to end their lives. I guess I just have to. The earlier I start the faster I'm put to my grave. I gave out one last sigh before I started by jogging the first few meters then gradually increasing my pace. Few rounds later and it was as though my legs would give way and I would collapse any minute soon. At one point I noticed that Alexa had joined the queen where she was standing under the shed of a tree, my eyes locked with her and I saw a glimmer of worry across her face as I averted my eyes away from hers and continued my rounds. I kept pushing and dragging my body telling myself it was for my good. I also encouraged myself by playing the scene of what happened to the King in his library and his words also. Reminding myself that there are lives that depend on me and for me to keep them safe I need this training now more than ever. This motivated me and gave me the strength to push on. I lost track of time and how many rounds I had run at some point. S

This time around, the running came easy to me and felt energized the more I run instead of the other way round. Running this time around felt as though I was gliding instead. It was as if the air around me were the one doing most of the work. Finding it difficult to explain properly, as I run I felt the air around me gather and assisted me in easily running. As I said, I don't have a way to explain it. The more I ran the faster I became and before I knew it, I was running faster than human imagination. This left me bewildered. I understood that because of my abilities I have the privilege to do things more than what an average werewolf can do. In a blink of an eye, I have completed the fifty rounds but still kept running as I enjoyed the feel of the air around me. This shouldn't be difficult to do since I've done it before on two different occasions. There must be something that is not adding up somewhere. There must be something that I'm not doing that I'm supposed to do. Puffing out some air from my mouth, I raise my head to the sky and noticed how beautiful it was. The stars were out, shining brightly giving out a sense of peaceful scenery. I gave a short sign and wish I had the privilege to do some sight gazing but knew I didn't. I look around me and saw that the Queen has left and Alexa was just ahead of me leaving as well. I jug to catch up to her, "Hey, Alexa wait up." She stopped on her track and waited for me to join her before she resumed walking. "I didn't see you guys leave." "Yeah. I tried getting your attention but you were deep in thought and mother said I should let you be and left. I stayed a little bit to stare at the sky with you before deciding also to leave."
