The chamber that they had all been in went silent. The sounds of creatures breathing was the only sound as the stand off between the demon king and the princess of all realms was happening. Though all were ready to act if they were needed they all knew this had to play out if there was to be some sort of peace between her and them. She woke up with a start from her nap. The light was fading, but she heard the sounds of the demons down below in the hall having a feast. Mitsuhide was surprisingly absent from the room as she replayed the dream in her head. Everything had seemed so real in the dream but she didn’t know how it could be. 1The office that she worked in was a flurry of activity. Everything seemed to go wrong from everyone’s day to day work to the computers going down, and the IT department couldn’t find the problem. Her own work had been done, but when she found out that nothing from that day had been saved to the office’s mainframe, she knew a week’s work of research had been lost. She had a back up at her house but knew that re-entering all the data again could to take up to a week, plus any new research that came in and she would have to enter that as well.
