Chapter 27: The Marriage Proposal

It's been a few months since we left our home.

We left the hamlet; our people; Those people who gave us love and taught me how to live a human life.

They choose their future head over us, but Yarrow chose me over her people.

She boldly accepted me in front of her people.

We took off from our people and reached a barren place.

Her father taught me about herbs, and as I told him I am a farmer, he expects me to plow the land and produce grain for the three of us.

But Yarrow knew, I knew nothing about farming.

After a few days, we reached a small place, the place where we saw the fields of corn. We stopped there for some time as we needed food and rest.

It gave me an idea to search for the owner of these fields and learn farming from him.

When we moved further with our wagon, we saw a family.

Kids were playing outside, and the man was working on his haystacks.
