Chapter Fifty

It was the next morning, when I woke up I was shocked to find Roman not asleep next to me. It took me a few seconds to remember what happened, where the feeling of confusion just takes over my body. I still don’t have a single idea why Roman was arrested, he’s nothing like Markus who should be the one put in jail!

I walk out of my bedroom to see Austin in the kitchen, he was downing a cup of coffee leaning up against the counter. He looks up to see me with a smile on his face, before I could reply he holds a second cup of coffee up towards me.

“I knew this would be something you’d be after, I heard you pacing up and down the house most of the night” he says handing me over the cup, I send him a little smile as a thank you before taking a look down.

“I’m sorry, I hope I didn’t stop you from getting any sleep” I say with a little smile jumping up on the counter, the coffee was definitely needed as I take my first sip.
