51. Dad

Alpha Asher’s pov

My girls were home! They were both home. This is what everything has been for. The tears, the pain, all the hard work—and finally they were home.

Leia had told the girls to go to bed. Aeryn must have been tired because she had run for weeks through a literal war zone.

But I couldn’t sleep. I was too excited, too happy. We were at war, but I had my family back, and with them, I could face everything.

I contacted Alpha Hiroshi instead of going straight to bed. He had helped my daughter get home and even shown her the safest route. In reality, you could go from his pack to mine in a few hours, but that would mean driving past several enemy packs.

Besides, from what I’ve been hearing, the enemy has been attacking smaller packs and taking them over, and I was sure that if Aeryn wasn’t there to help Alpha Hiroshi, they would have done the same to his pack.

I promised to stop by tomorrow with some soldiers to help protect his border. I wanted to meet this Alpha myself to t
Naomi D.

A chapter from Asher's pov, because I thought it would be nice to hear from him and to see the battle from his pov. Hope you like it! Let me know what you think. My oldest has a study day and my youngest will be free at 12.15 and it's raining. So I'll have to think of something to do with them inside. Don't know if I will be able to write more. Probably tonight.
