The news was hard to process, and the more she thought about it, the more the mixed feelings of rage and shock grew.

What had Ollie just told her?

Ollie was still fidgety from the news. It took a significant amount of strength for Chloe to ignore her feelings and try to soothe Ollie.

"I worked so hard for those designs," Ollie cried. "They were my first work, and I really wanted my parents to be proud of me."

Chloe took her hand. "Ollie…Ollie. Look at me." She looked into the teenager's dancing eyes. "This isn't the end, okay?"

There was nothing she could do. Emma had won this. And it felt like another stab in a fresh wound. Never had she imagined that Emma would be capable of doing the things she did. First, she took her man. Then she took her designs.

She returned her focus to Ollie, who was sitting quietly. "Look. You've got numerous ideas that the world is waiting to see, alright? You can't let this beat you up."

Ollie nodded, but Chloe wasn't convinced that she was okay.
