“You know, Peter is my closest friend. I felt very ashamed when I saw my mother hurt him.” Brandon sighed in a voice filled with sadness. “I know he won’t notice, but I hate my mother. She is authoritarian.”

Brandon was in a bad mood that day, and finally, Anna understood why.

“Is your friend getting better?” Anna asked.

Brandon nodded. “He wasn’t badly hurt. His face and hands were hurt, but most of the debris went to the outside of his jacket.”

“Maybe Peter will go to school soon.” Brandon thought, then added.

Anna listened. She sympathized with Brandon and understood why he ignored the note she had sent him this morning.

However, Anna must be very careful, in case Brandon knows Bunny is Anna, his classmate.
