William Mackenzie hurriedly replied, "Cassie, this is nothing. You don't need to think about this."

"What do you mean you don't have to? Do you think I can't help you?" Cassandra retorted.

Bill closed his eyes and now began to feel that he might soon have a fight with his wife.

"You know it's not. Cassie, I just don't want to add to your burden. That's it, I'm good to go and as soon as it's over I'll be on my way home," Bill said.

Cassandra who was on the other end was silent for a while.

The beautiful woman was not offended at all and instead felt sorry for her husband who had to think of everything himself.

It wasn't that she didn't want to really help her husband but she felt that Bill was really thinking about her so she chose not to make an issue of it.

Cassandra then talked about a few things before she finally decided on the call.
