44. Look at the Screen!

Riley could barely hear the conversation, but he was not distracted at all. The young man was still able to maintain his concentration.

In fact, he seemed to be much more focused now. Indeed, when it came to concentration, Riley had always been the best. His own father, William Mackenzie, had even said that his son could concentrate better than he could.

The officer watched every bullet Riley fired and was impressed by Riley's speed.

"12," the officer said with a smile.

The other officers became interested and watched as Riley returned fire. When the shot hit the target, the officers smiled happily.

The future soldiers who had been making bad comments were shocked, "How can he be so fast?"

"17," the friend counted.

They were stunned when the officer finally said, "25 with a record time of ....."

At the mention of the time Riley had spent practicing shooting, the officer looked at the young man in awe.

"You passed," the officer said.
