A young girl walked into a relinquished hall inside the community stadium. She closed the door as she stepped inside taking her steps carefully.
"What made you come late," a deep voice said and the darkened hall suddenly brightened revealing Thompson and Susannah. Thompson sat on a chair at the far end of the hall with a cigarette in his mouth.
"Am sorry, I let them sleep before sneaking out" Susannah replied to him with a bright countenance as she walked close to him.

The room was dimly lit with the vintage wall sconces that hung on the mute coloured walls like earrings.
