Zaya's Companion 

I was alone staring at myself in the mirror. ‘What just happened?’ I asked myself.

I rushed out of his bathroom and out of his bedroom, catching only a glimpse of Evander laying across his bed. I ran to my room and closed the door behind me. My knees collapsed next to the bed. I sat on the floor leaning against it for support as I sat there on the floor.

My skin was burning as my chest struggled to maintain a steady breathing pattern. I was scared of him and what he planned on doing to me. But yet my wolf thought otherwise.

My wolf missed Godric truly but deep inside, somehow, she was attracted to Evander. He was tall and handsome. But I wasn’t going to give in to her temptation.

I fell asleep lying on the floor.
