Sitting in the back seat of Harry’s car, Reese was peering outside through the window, and for the very first time since she left Axel’s mansion, her core had stopped aching for him.

Harry took Lucy and her for grocery shopping, and they were on their way back to their house. Reese hated grocery shopping, but when Harry came back inside the house after he had left to remind Lucy about the grocery shopping she said she wanted to go for, Reese made a decision she had never made before; she willingly offered to go grocery shopping.

She thought going grocery shopping and walking around the mall would help rid her mind of thoughts of Axel, and it worked.

Her body wasn’t longing for him anymore, but she knew it was only a matter of time before her body betrayed her again.

"What are these two doing in front of the house?" Lucy said, cutting through her thoughts.

Still peering through the window, she asked. "What two?"

"Zayn and your boss." Lucy said, and Reese quickly flicked her gaze ahe
