By the time Axel finished with his work, it was past 12 a.m., and he had expected his parents to have gone to bed before he returned home.

But when he got home, he realized they hadn’t, and they were in the living room waiting for him to return.

"Why are you just coming back?" His dad asked as he ventured into the living room. "I was told you didn’t take any breaks today. You worked nonstop." He continued before Axel could even reply.

Axel scratched his head. "Yes, Dad, I am leaving for London tomorrow." He informed them. "So, I had to get everything sorted out today."

"But you just came back, Axel!" His mother exclaimed, her eyes growing wider.

His father pressed his lips tightly together as he gestured at the sofa across from them. "Sit, son."

Axel lifted his shoulders in a half-shrug as he started walking closer to them. He wasn’t interested in whatever his father wanted to say. He knew he was going to try to convince him to stay a little bit longer, and nothing was going to make
