34. Memory From The Past

A man dressed in full black showed them the way. Zach shamelessly walked along with Nevea. He extended his hand to hold her, but Nevea elbowed him on his stomach and walked faster.

"So feisty." Zach shook his head as he followed behind her.

They were led to another room on the second floor. Each person was handled by different staff. The man who hosted the auction approached Zach, who stood alone without a companion.

"Please follow me, Mr…." The man trailed his words.

"Zach." He replied as he rested his ass on the chair.

"It's a pleasure to have you join us in this auction, Mr. Zach. I can't say my name, but you may call me Silver." Silver stated, grinning from ear to ear. If Zach continued attending their event, they would get another rich who would throw their money without thinking.

"My necklace, Silver," Zach replied, barely bothered to stay polite with the masked man.

"Oh, right. I am sorry for keeping you waiting."
