Lindsay POV

I turned to look at Jace who remained quiet. I was glad he didn't look at me like he was judging me. Probably he didn't want to disrespect his Boss's partner. Maybe he saw me the same way he saw Shaun.

I pointed my index finger at him “You can't say anything to him” there was a stern look on my face to give him the impression that was as serious as hell.

"I didn't plan on saying anything,” he shrugged.

I sighed as I leaned on Shaun's table."But you know I'm married right?” I needed to be sure.

"I am your neighbor, of course I do”

"And” I bit my lips nervously. "you know how my husband can be”

"I'm not going to say anything,” he assured me and for some reason, I trusted his words.

"Then we'll not be having any problem” I smiled at him. "Let's go” I walked and he trailed from behind.

We got outside and he led me to a black car. Shaun must have assigned the car through Jace to me because he knew I wasn't going to take it if he gave me directly.

“Don't say anything" I warne
