Hope you all enjoyed this chapter! We only have 1 more chapter and the epilogue to go to finish Crysanthi and Azak's story! I'm so excited to finally finish this story for you all! I apologize for the inconvenience it has been with all of the changes in my life over the past year, but I am so very grateful to you all for sticking it out with me! Once I finish this story, I'm going to take a break on this series to finish my other books before returning with the Timekeeper Twins stories! Leave a gem, like and comment on what you are hoping to see from those ones! Also, if you haven't, please check out my book, "His Only Hope" as that will be the next one I work to finish!
Crysanthi Our peace had been hard won over the past year, but as I sat in the gardens with my light, I knew every bit of it was worth it. He had spent the day gathering fruits and vegetables from the gardens so that we would have plenty of them for Rayan's cooking class tonight. Us Royals still got together every week for dinner to keep in touch, only now Rayan and Genevieve showed up with baby Heidi in tow, usually with Rayan carrying her carseat. She was a precious little wide eyed princess, always so curious and wanting to look around at everything. Tonight Rayan was going to teach us all to cook, though Genevieve would probably spend the evening holding her pup and watching on. But she didn't particularly need to learn to cook, since Rayan was her mate after all. Ember and Fioré had grown closer over the months, and within the next couple of months the dragon Timekeeper princess would come of age and become a Queen herself, just as Genevieve and I had. Then she coul
Azak "Let's go everyone! We are going to be late for the party!" I shouted up the stairs from the foyer. Today was the Timekeeper twins sixteenth birthday and the Wolf King and Queen were throwing them a massive party to celebrate. I knew Crysanthi was doing her best to wrangle our three children so we would make it on time, but as it stood, we were already going to be late. Our oldest daughter, Daisy, came running down the steps with her little sister Rose in tow. I could hear my beautiful light upstairs rushing our youngest, Gin, to hurry him up. My boy preferred to do things on his own time, but today was not his day, it was Harmony and Hunter's day, so his mother was rushing him. A few seconds later the two of them appeared at the top of the stairs just before Crysanthi gripped his should and disappeared in a flash of bright pink. Our girls knew well enough by now to know that that was their signal to grab onto me so the three of us could portal out to the party as well, so th
As she was running through the forest she could feel the damp earth between her paws. The earthy scent heightened with each step she took, her paws impaling the earth & digging up the ground in their wake. The scent of flowers in full bloom invaded her snout as she came into a field. "Remember who you are..." a silky serene voice filled her mind. Her wolf, Gia, howled in response. "Who are you?" She asked through the mindlink as Gia rolled on her back in the field under the moonlight. But the only response she received was the voice repeating those words over again. "Remember who you are." --------------------------------------------------------------- "Maeva? Maeva?" Alpha Maxwell's deep husky voice sounded through the mindlink awakening her from her dream. "Yes Alpha?" She answered, her voice thick with sleep. "Sorry to wake you, princess," he answered sarcastically, "But I need you to get up, get dressed & meet me on the traini
Just as she had predicted, the entrance assessment exams were a cake walk. She had breezed through them, which had only left the Headmaster even more impressed. He had offered her a full scholarship to the International Werewolf Academy, so she would be going for free, an option that was usually only reserved for Omegas or the children of the Deltas that worked at the academy or within the Royal Court. Though she was incredibly proud of herself for managing to get a scholarship to the academy, she was also confused. She had never heard of anyone getting a scholarship to attend before. Usually only the children of high ranking, high class wolves, or service ranked wolves attended the academy. Nonetheless, she would be attending this year, and the Headmaster had said her scholarship would be for 4 years, which was the usual length of time that students attended. She was packed & ready to go, just waiting for the bus that would be arriving in an hour. She could hear the u
"Perfect timing! Let me grab those for you Maeva. The bus pulled up just a minute ago. I'll load these on for you." David said as he grabbed her duffels from her. David was only a year older than her, & an Omega, so this was going to be his second year of attendance. He was her only friend in the entire pack, as she had spent her entire life as an outcast due to the rigorous training her father, well Daniel, had put her through. "Thanks David." She smiled as she followed behind him. Just as she was reaching the door her right arm was grabbed forcefully from behind & she was jerked backwards into a hardened muscular chest. She knew his scent all too well, & she internally cringed. "Gamma," she said as he pulled her into him. Though Alpha Maxwell technically had custody of her since she was an orphan, Gamma Clay had made it his personal responsibility to "care" for her. He was easily 6 foot tall, so he towered over her, & was 285lbs. of pure muscle. He was quite tanne
They traveled for hours through the mountainous terrain & thick forests before they finally reached the gates. It was late morning by the time the bus pulled to a stop in the large circle driveway to the academy entrance. The other students quickly vacated the bus, as they all had been enrolled the previous year. She was the only 1st year student from her pack & though she was nervous to begin this journey she refused to let it show. She took her time packing up her belongings from the bus before exiting the vehicle. Stepping off the bus she took in a deep inhale of the fresh mountain air. Sure, she could smell the other wolves throughout the territory, but she had always had a knack for being able to filter scents. She would only smell what she chose to smell in this moment, & the mountain air was not only refreshing, but incredibly exhilarating also. "Hey Maeva, your things have already been taken in by the Deltas, they'll get them to your room. If you want I can g
Maeva pulled the keycard from her pocket & held it infront of the scanner. The door made a clicking noise that told her it unlocked. So, she pushed down on the handle before pushing it open & walking inside. The inside of the room was decorated in hues of purple & white, & hosted 2 large windows on the far wall. A full sized bed sat under each window with a white wooden night stand on each side. There was a desk on the wall to the left of her, & a sitting area with a plush lavender couch to her right. On the far right wall sat another desk between 2 of the 3 doors. "This is nice." David said as walked over to lay her pillow & blanket on the bed that hadn't been claimed. Her roommate had already been here & she wondered if they had passed her in the hall. A laptop sat on the desk on the right, and a bag, a pillow & a blanket sat on the bed to the right. Her designer luggage sat at the foot of the bed, showing that she had been here long enough for her luggage to be broug
After she showered, she and Stella chatted while she made herself more presentable & they finished unpacking. She had learned that Stella was the middle child between 2 brothers. Her younger brother would start at the academy next year. Her mother's name was Marion & her Father was Howard. Her mother was the daughter of a Scottish Alpha. Her parents were friendly with the Alpha King & he visited their pack whenever he went to the UK on business. She said that though her parents were on friendly terms with the Alpha King, she was sure the friendly part was more or less her parents because the Alpha King wasn't very friendly. When Maeva asked her what he was like she had said he was cold, intimidating & seemed to live in a state of constant annoyance. But surely he couldn't be that bad if he created the academy right? Once they had finished unpacking, Stella offered to show her around, which she happily accepted. Stella took her out the back exit of the building where th
