He can't be gone

Daylen and Uri stepped into the gates of the summer palace before the sunset. Looking forward to meeting Syvan and showing him that they pulled through and met his demand.

The compound wasn't as they left it. Darkness loomed around them. There was something sinister in the air around them that was hard to pinpoint. Daylen and Uri dragged the shadow weaver along with them. Taking slow steps as they approached the palace. Stalling for time, uneasy from the uncomfortable essence in the air.

"The weeping, it's been here," Jax, the shadow weaver spoke. He knew the aura he felt, he was familiar with the weeping. They were dark avenging souls of the dead that hadn't found peace in the afterlife. Souls that avenged the dead.

They were used to settle the death of people that died unjustly. Their presence was an indication that someone in that house had taken a life unfairly and they came to collect a life.
