Jax ran over to Syvan. Taking the man in his arms and embracing him in a tight hug. The audacity of Jax to take Syvan into his arms like that surprised Daylen.

It was only the previous day that Jax was telling him how terrified he was of Syvan. Expressing how a vampire who can control the weeping made his skin crawl with fear. But it was also then that Jax made it very clear that whatever Syvan would ask of him he would deliver without question.

This a statement that Daylen respected because at that moment he too felt afraid of his mate. Little did he expect that statement to become a reality. A reality that will devastate his life beyond measure.

"Your friend is here so early in the morning," Syvan stated returning the hug by wrapping his arms around Jax.

"I couldn't hold back my happiness and had to share it with someone. What better person to tell this to than the one who brought us together?" he inquired from Syvan.
