Leaving

Daylen found himself seated at the dining table with the moon goddess. With the two buttons of his crisp white shirt opened.

His head cast down on the table. Unable to feel anything, his body had grown numb. He had been hurt so much in a small period of time for him to care anymore.

Daylen pressed his lips together. His mother gave him her blessings to be with Syvan. She gave her word that she wouldn't harm Syvan or allow anyone to hurt his beloved. It was the happiest he had ever been but it wasn't so for his love.

Despite the moon goddess permitting them to be together. Syvan chose to vacate the summer palace and return to Erelandia with Jax. Daylen was puzzled at first but eventually accepted that his love wasn't enough to make Syvan choose him.

The worst part is the fact that he had no excuse or anyone to blame for his leaving. The elders didn't want him dead, the moon goddess gave her blessing. Syvan leaving was his choice and to top it up, Syvan requested him not to follow h
