Birds cawing in the sky.

Daylen rushed out of his room excited about the day. Casting aside all his fear and anxiety about leaving the room as he was filled with the joy of meeting Syvan. To inform Syvan that they weren't strangers to each other and had intact shared a bond in the past.

He wasn't sure how long ago that was. The drugs in his veins had messed with his head and his genes. Daylen knew that as much as he might have been a moon god once he was certainly not anymore. If anything he was a broken god.

He raced down to Syvan's room. In his excitement, he forgot to knock on the door before stepping into the room. Syvan's chambers were dimly lit with the curtains still drawn. It was impossible to make out anything inside. "I'll open the windows for him," Daylen thought out loud.

As if on cue, the alarms beeps to life on Syvan's nightstand and he reaches out to silence it. His nose caught Daylen's scent in his room and he frowned.

"What are you doing in my room?" he barked fe
