Chapter 19 Give Me Some Good Stuff

“Hey kid, are you trying to be a busybody?” The Scorpion Guardian stared at Lucas York.

“That’s right, I’m trying to be a busybody," Lucas replied slowly.

Ms. Maren clutched her wounds, she looked at Lucas and said with strenuous effort, “You are no match for him, hurry up and leave.”

When Lucas heard that, he smiled dryly, “I might be no match for him, but you are.”

“Hahaha!”

When the Scorpion Guardian heard that, he burst out laughing as if he had never heard such a funny joke before.

“What are you laughing at?” Lucas asked, confused.

“I’m laughing at you, you don’t know when to surrender, do you? You’re just a puny, ordinary Awakened One, yet you dare to spout such shameless lies?” The Scorpion Guardian said disdainfully.

Lucas shook his head slightly and instantly retrieved the Super Health Potion from the System Space.

“Drink this, and your wounds will be healed,” Lucas said dryly to Ms. Maren.

Ms. Maren was taken aback. Even though she did not believe Lucas, her instincts told her that he was not lying.

“I want to see just what kind of tricks you’re trying to pull, kid.”

The Scorpion Guardian crossed his arms and looked at Lucas in amusement.

“Drink it,” Lucas urged calmly.

Ms. Maren pondered for a few seconds, before she gritted her teeth, grabbed the Super Health Potion, and drank it.

The moment she consumed it, a miracle began to happen.

The wounds on Ms. Maren’s body began healing visibly. Moreover, her spiritual power was returned to its peak.

“This…how is this possible?”

The Scorpion Guardian gaped at the scene before him, baffled.

Ms. Maren was shocked as well. She did not think that there would be such divine water in this world.

“Now…you can defeat him,” Lucas said curtly.

In their battle just now, the Scorpion Guardian had already used up a lot of his spiritual power to the point of near-exhaustion.

“We will meet again someday, kid!”

Just as he finished speaking, the Scorpion Guardian fled away frantically. He must have reached the fastest speed in history. Even Lucas was somewhat dumbfounded.

He had to admit that the Scorpion Guardian made a wise decision. If he did not flee, he would have to face the wrath of Ms. Maren’s purple sword.

“Thank you,” Ms. Maren thanked Lucas gratefully.

“Don’t thank me, just give me some good stuff.”

Lucas had never been a person who experienced loss. Since he had given the Super Health Potion to Ms. Maren, it was not his style to not ask for something in return.

“Good stuff?”

Ms. Maren was a little stunned, she never expected that he would say something like that.

“That’s right, give it to me.”

Lucas held out his hands!

Ms. Maren looked at Lucas, taken aback. She realized that he was very young, but no one could forget those eyes.

They were as quiet as the night but as deep as the ocean.

“I…I don’t have any good stuff on me.”

Ms. Maren replied somewhat apologetically. The divine water she was given must have been very precious, it was only reasonable that he would ask for something in return.

When Lucas heard that, he sighed, thinking that his efforts were wasted.

“But I’m a teacher at Annan College. If you want to enroll in the institution, I could let you in.”

"I don't want to enter Annan College, but you have to get the good stuff ready because I'll come to get them from you any time," Lucas replied calmly.

Ms. Maren was stunned again. “The good stuff you’re referring to is…?”

“I don’t know either, just don’t disappoint me.”

With that, Lucas turned and left.
