Martin, clad in a sharp suit, his white shirt contrasting with the black, stood under the dazzling light of the crystal chandelier. His features were striking, his jawline sharp enough to instill a sense of awe.

Madam Thomas approached with a harmless smile, extending her hand in greeting. "Martin, what brings you here today? Perhaps a new business venture?"

Martin glanced at her outstretched hand with disdain, not wanting to waste time with pleasantries. "You know exactly why I'm here, Madam Thomas. Patricia, my wife, I would like you to hand her over to me."

Madam Thomas didn't seem perturbed. She withdrew her hand, her smile sly and foxy.

"Martin, what are you talking about? Patricia isn't here with me. You must be mistaken."

Martin chuckled lowly, his voice as cold as ice. "Madam Thomas, we've known each other for years. Let's not pretend. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't certain."
