Chapter 3

"She has left", was all Gabriel said before he broke down in tears, this made Sebastian feel somewhat guilty as for he had hoped for this outcome. He could not say why but the hate he had for her kind was far to great. Even with her captivating beauty his hate far surpassed any other emotion he felt for her.

Sebastian comforted his cousin with actions and led him upstairs to get some sleep without speaking a word. He was hoping that with time Gabriel would forget her and move on.

1 year later.

"Sebastian what time will you be getting home" queried Haley, as he has Mr and Mrs Agreste had waited for him at his mansion.

"in 30 minutes", sebastian replied before disconnecting the call and heading towards the parking lot.

Entering his home his parents and good friend Haley were ready in what looked like dinner gowns and suit.

" I will be ready in 20 minutes" confirmed Sebastion as he ascended the stairs.

It was Gabriels engagement party today, after a heartbreaking year for him he decided he would settle down with an arranged marriage his parents had longed for many years. Gabriel was aware that he may never fall in love again however he could not let his heartbreak shatter his parents hopes and decided to move forward. He was only 25 years of age but he wanted the engagement as a form of aid to help him move on.

"Congratulations Gabriel" Mr and Mrs Agreste were the first to wish him followed by Haley and then Sebastian. Sebastian knew that his cousin had no feelings for his fiance and this move was to please his parents. Yet, somewhere he still felt relieved that he did not purse Hannah. 'Hannah', he could still remember her name, it must be the hate he had for her kind, is all he could put it down to this absurd memory.

After leaving the party, Mrs Agreste voices out her frustration at her son for being single. "Do you plan on remaining single for the rest of your life"? Sebastian gives an emotionless look at his mother and continues scrolling through his phone.

1 week Later.

"Sebatian I need to speak to your urgently, do you have half hour to spare"? questioned Gabriel from the other end of the line.

"Yes, I can meet you in the next hour".

" thats fine, I will meet you in your office", confirmed Gabriel before disconnecting the call. Sebastian knew something was bothering Gabriel from his tone.

" Gentleman we will meet next week to discuss the terms of the contract. Meeting is dismissed." Gabriel rose to leave the meeting room before other members had the chance to. He knew his cousin must be waiting for him in his office, which is where he was headed.

" Hello cousin" greeted Gabriel who seemed bothered.

" How can I be of help"

"haha, straight to the point, as always. You know Sebastian, I know you and others see my sorrow. Yet you don't feel the pain I go through each day just to live for the ones that care about me. I fell head over heals for her. she took my heart and now I live in this shell without an organ I need to really live my life. What I'm saying is I can't move on, what I feel can only be remedied by two methods one is she accepts my love which I know she won't and the second is revenge." Sebastian gabe nothing away, he did not agree nor disagree with his cousin, he showed no signs of approval or disapproval, he remained stoic.

" I want revenge. I want her to suffer everyday, the pain im going through, I want her to feel it 10 times stronger if that is even possible".

" What do you propose we do", spoke Sebastian for the first time.

" Her parents are seeking to find her protection through marrying her to someone capable, someone who can protect her from her relatives. And I want that person to be you".

" what makes you think she will agree to this alliance you are suggesting".

" She will have to, she will never disobey her parents. If they approve of you, which they will as her safety is their main priority, she will never go against their decision".

" Why don't you introduce yourself to her parents, you love her and have always wanted to get married to her", Sebastian voiced out his thoughts reluctantly as he was going against his true feelings. However, he knew his cousin had suffered immensely during the last 12 months, therefore decided to advise him with his love for his cousin and not his hate for her kind.

"No! I can't, I won't be able to inflict her with the pain she deserves, because, because I love her. And I dont want to marry her because she has no choice I wanted her love which I know she will never be able to give me. Please Sebastian grant me this wish and I forever will indebted to you and will never make another request to you in this lifetime". The pain and anguish displayed on Gabriels face, tore something inside Sebastian and for the first time he knew he was going to make a decision which was influenced by someone, that someone who he treated like his baby brother, he was probably the most dearest person to Sebastian.

" Give me the details of her family, I will arrange for some to make a contact with them to suggest this alliance. "

"Thank You Sebastian! I can't express my gratitude enough. You are going to release me from this prison I imprisoned myself in. Thank You cousin Thank You brother". He rose to his feet and made his way to the door, he turned around and called for Sebastians attention once again, " brother, can I warn you, dont lose yourself, for she is a vixen, she knows how to capture the hearts of men, and she expertly ruins you". He turned around and left Sebastian to fulfill his unsaid promise to him.

4 Week Later

Mrs Agreste was excited, today she was arranging her sons marriage. They were getting ready to go to the Ghouzis residence. Mrs Agreste was reminiscing the events from the last 4 weeks from when her son came unannounced and confirmed he was ready for marriage and the he had the perfect woman he wanted to get married to. The last 4 weeks were spent convincing the Ghouzi's for their daughters hand in marriage. Today was the day they were meeting the Ghouzis to make the engagement official.

Arriving at the Ghouzis lavish mansion in the heart of London, Mr and Mrs Agreste are greeted by Mr and Mrs Ghouzi. No other relative was invited as the alliance was arranged in secrecy, as the Ghouzi's requested for the utmost privacy during this time.

" Welcome, please make yourself at home" greeted Mr Ghouzi. Upon entering their home The Agrestes noticed that apart from the couple nobody else resided with them.

"Can we please meet Hannah, is she home" requested Mrs Agreste.

Actually she is not aware of the engagement and has been sent away. The Agrestes were curious to understand why the engagement was being held in complete secrecy without the knowledge of the bride. The Ghouzis explained that Hannah being their only heir to their multibillion empire, their relatives wanted to arrange an alliance within their family with one of Hannah cousins. Declining there offer had resulted in threats to abduct Hannah and force her marriage with her cousin.

The Agrestes were happy to proceed as Sebastian had voiced his decision firmly. Sebastian was also present during the engagement and was for an unknown reason disappointed that Hannah was not present. He put it down to surprising her with his identity as she was not aware of this alliance. After discussing several issues, Sebatian suggested to have a simple wedding with only their families present in 1 weeks times. This was agreed by the Ghouzi's, however Sebastians mother tried to persuade him to have the wedding in a months time and to have a wedding with at least their close family friends and extended member of their families. Sebastian declined and a simple wedding was arranged for the following week. This would allow Hannah to get back from her hiding and to prepare for the wedding.

1 Week later

"Is the marriage sermon ready". asked Mr Agreste.

"Yes, you may call Sebastian in". called Mr Ghouzi.

Sebastian entered the hall where Hannah was dressed in a normal outfit yet her face was covered in a veil.

Their vows were completed and witnessed by their family members. they were pronounced husband and wife. Hannah had no courage to look at her husband as this was an arranged marriage, one out of convenience. There was no love therefore she held no excitement to see her husband nor any interest to find out who he was.

After completing the marriage ceremony, Hannah was escorted in Sebastians car where she waited for her husband so they could make their way to his private penthouse to spend their lives as husband and wife.
