The Announcement

LEONA’S POV

“Leona!” Sophie giggled, “Finally! Darren is claiming you as his fiancé! Tomorrow, the whole world will knows about you. I’m so happy for you!”

“Yeah, I was perplexed. What’s got into him?”

“He probably hit his head somewhere. Congratulations, Leona. I got to go home. It’s late. Thank you for the dinner,” Andrei left grumpily, and I felt bad for him. It was unexpected. He was vocal about his feelings towards me.

I called to checked on him, but Andrei was not picking up. I hope he won’t avoid me. He was such a good friend.

Sophie urged to sleep for a beauty rest for tomorrow’s announcement. We are unsure if Darren would keep his word. Knowing he changes his mind and attitude really fast.
