The Past

LEONA’S POV

Victoria found me. They were waiting for me to come back and attack. The werewolf who attacked at my apartment was also there.

Alpha Scott. I knew his scent was familiar. I just couldn’t remember who since I only met him once.

“Alpha Scott, you are the werewolf who....”

“Yes, that was me,” he quickly answered interrupting my words, “Any last wishes before you face your death? Because, we are not going back without you!”

He laughed triumphantly just like Luna Victoria. The two are bonded. I could smell them marking each other.

“I didn’t do it. You know that. I did not kill Alpha Riley. You were there when….”

“Silence! Enough of your insolence. It is time to pay your crime. Guards! Seize her.”

The pack’s guards arrest me, tying my hands behind with a silver string, and throw me inside the car’s trunk. I was screaming to catch all the neighbor’s attention, but who would date to intervene with a bunch of werewolves.
