Chapter 20: A Fox's Antics

Lars was reminded of what Alt'ma said to him in the white chamber of his dreams, about the others. He studied the impostor's expression and yet his smile stayed unflinching. Despite still being careful with whatever stood before him, Lars was inclined to believe this impostor could actually clarify everything. As a sign of peace, he willed his sword away, returning it into a necklace.

"Could you explain to me all about this? No more jokes. And please stop talking with my face. I'm serious."

"Why not? He gets to do that all his life." The impostor Lars nodded towards Len, and since nobody react to his joke, he threw his hands on the air in defeat. "Alright, alright, I'm just messing with ya."
