After reversing the life-binding spell that Emelda had done on the twin brothers, Yemanja started another series of spells on her granddaughter. She chanted her magic for three minutes before she was able to connect with the spirit world.
And in the spirit world, Yemanja had gotten to the same point where she had seen Emelda the first time. But to her surprise, her granddaughter was nowhere in sight. Emelda wasn't at that spot again.
