Darius and Lucius had been standing at the entrance to Emelda’s room and the doors were thick so they couldn't catch the details of what was going on inside but Yemanja’s voice when she broke the curse had been loud enough and without any delay, the twin brothers rushed into Emelda’s room. They got there in time to find Yemanja slumping to the floor.
Lucius rushed to her immediately and he caught her before she hit the ground. And then he pulled her up gently. Yemanja opened her eyes at that moment and she broke out in tears. She turned to the bed to take a look at Emelda who was still sleeping.
“I can feel her with us,” The chief priest confirmed and Yemanja nodded but she didn't look away.
She was still holding on to Emelda’s hand and her eyes were flooded with tears.
But then, Yemanja raised her hand to her face and she wiped her tears with the back of her hand. And just as she wiped her face, Emelda opened her eyes.
