Pedro arrived at the place reported back to him. He saw an old woman by the name of Dani who lived there and introduced himself.
“I am Pedro, I’m looking for a girl named Maya, and perhaps you know her?” He said, trying to sound respectful. But he was panting and catching his breath, and he practically ran all those flights of stairs in hopes of catching Maya. Well, he hoped to catch her before Stephanie did, but there was no sign of her.
He could not help but feel a little helpless when he remembered his sister. Who knew what his spoiled sister would do later?
The old woman glanced up and down at him as if she was really curious about him. She smiled before replying, “Oh right, Maya… she was looking for someone. Some… I forgot who.”
“Looking for someone?” Pedro raised his eyebrow, and he asked hurriedly, “Is it a guy?”
