Ethan steps into the center and clears his throat, “ahem. Alright everybody, I know we are all excited here to show the alpha’s what we’ve been working on, but let’s remember our teachings and training. Did everyone stop over the whiteboard to confirm your pairings for today?”

All the trainees nod in response.

“Great, find your partners and let’s get started.”

“Hey,” says Donovan nudging my shoulder, “Wanna pair up?”

“Ouch, that one hurt,” he pretends to hold his chest.

I kiss his cheek, “there all better.”

He smiles and bites his lip.

“Anyways, I’m paired up with Cruz one of the recruits, he apparently wants a beating today.”

“With that beast?” he exclaimed, shocked. He’s three; no, I take that back four times your size.”
