Gonzalo agreed with her. “Yes, River. Echo can not have me.”

She was about to say she didn't care about that when he added, “Because I'm yours now. As I have always been and would always be.”

“Oh, please, spare me the theatrics, Gonzalo.” She rolled her eyes.
